Isaiah was 11 months old on February 6th. As you can see he likes to play with boxes, pots and pans, and he loves to dance to music. He has started pushing his ride on toy all around the living room and it looks like walking is going to be just around the corner! :-0

Isaiah is so much fun! He has started doing so many new things. He has a great sense of humor! He was playing peek a boo last night (something he started) He has started dancing to music, and saying more when he wants more food. :-) He is truly a gift from God and we are so thankful!!

On Saturday (December 19th) we went to our good friends house, the Galusha's. Jack, Lisa, Hanna, & Emma have been good friends of ours for several years. I picked Hanna & Emma up from school, took them to activities, etc. for about 2 years. They are such a sweet family and have become like family to us. We have started having Christmas with them every year. The pictures below are of Isaiah opening his gift from them. He loved it! We had spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and desserts. We opened gifts and played several games of uno flash. We had a great time!!

As you can also see, we had snow. It was Isaiah's 1st snow! We still have a little on the ground because it has been so cold!! I wish it would snow on Christmas but right now they are just saying it's going to be rain. :-(

Last Thursday, We got a battery operated 4wheeler and a highchair from Tawana.(Thank you Tawana!!) Isaiah loves the 4wheeler, he is so cute with it! He has learned how to push the gas and make it go, but he doesn't know how to put it in reverse or steer yet. He likes to sit in his high chair and eat cheerios and other snacks and watch his dvd. It usually keeps him happy for about 30 minutes depending on his mood!! As you can see, he fell asleep in it a few days ago. He had been fighting sleep for hours and I guess he got his belly full and just gave it up!! :-)

It's almost Christmas!! I'm sure I will be posting lots of pictures. We have been so excited about Isaiah's 1st Christmas! We are going to pick up Jason's parents tonight from the airport. He will have his first Christmas with all of his grandparents here. (They live in CA) They will be staying until January 4th.

On Friday, Jason, Isaiah, & I went to Hanes Mall to finish up some Christmas shopping. As you can see, Isaiah rode the carousel for the first time and really seemed to like it. :-)

On Sunday, Isaiah turned 9 months old! On Friday (December 4th) we took him to candle tea which has been a Christmas family tradition for many years now! Then on Monday (Dec. 7th) we took him to the Lexington Christmas parade. He liked the fire trucks and the marching bands the most. He would kick his legs in excitement. He has already made the Christmas season so exciting. We are so looking forward to Isaiah's first Christmas! We love Isaiah so much and are so thankful that God has blessed us with such a wonderful little boy!!

Sorry in my delay to post this to those of you who look at this. Isaiah has been sick the last few days. He is cutting 3 teeth! 2 have already cut through his gums and one is on the verge. It's been tough and it breaks mommy and daddy's heart to see our baby boy so miserable!! He recently started waving. My mom and I left Cato's on Monday night & as we were walking out the door he started waving. :-)

Isaiah loves taking baths but not actually getting clean! He usually starts to fuss when I'm really using soap and a washcloth to get him clean. He loves playing in the bath tub and would rather not get out!!

I've been wanting to take Isaiah's picture with a pumpkin outside with the beautiful fall weather but for now these will have to do. I plan on trying to get the outside pictures tomorrow if the weather is nice. Isaiah was so excited about this pumpkin! He has really started to "talk" a lot more and squeal when he gets excited! He is such a funny little boy and we love him so much!!

Isaiah is now pulling himself up on things, I left Isaiah in his nursery for a minute or two and came back to see he had pulled himself up on this toy. :-)

For some reason he loved these pants, he just sat there and snickered and played with the prints on them.

Isaiah absolutely loves our dogs, Sissy & Mac. He was very happy when he got to play with them on the floor!

Isaiah was very sleepy, he fell asleep just sitting next to me on the couch. I just laid him on a sleeping bag on the floor and covered him up, over an hour later, he is still sleeping there. Of course his crazy mom had to go make sure he was breathing, and he is. :-)

I love this little boy so much!! :-)

Isaiah flew with us to CA for 5 days to see his grandparents, aunt & uncle, and cousins. He did great on the airplane. He slept a lot and then smiled and "talked" to people when he was awake. I was very happy at how well he did!! He started crawling while he was there! That is quite an adjustment for mommy. My baby is growing up & he is into everything! :-)

Isaiah had his 6 month check up last Monday. He weighed 16 lbs, 4 ounces and was 26 and half inches long. :-)

Isaiah is going to the doctor on Monday so I am not sure how much he weighs right now. He is a ball of fun & energy! His favorite things are music, animals, his walker, going outside, & getting lots of attention! He is cutting his two top teeth but he has been for weeks now, so not sure when they are gonna finally show themselves! He started sitting up in the last couple of days more on his own. He is trying to crawl but gets frustrated that he can't quite do it yet. He rolls and scoots all over the floor though. These pictures were taken at his grandparents house, two of his favorite people! He always gives them a huge grin when we go to see them. He is going to see his family in CA in a couple of weeks. :-)

Since my lost post, Isaiah decided he will take a bottle again. That is nice if we go somewhere or what not I can pump a bottle. He started going forward in his walker in the last couple of days & he gets so happy & proud of himself! :-) Can't believe how fast the last 5 months have gone... love him more every day!! :-)

Isaiah is 21 weeks old. He is now rolling over from his back to his stomach & from his stomach to his back. This keeps his mommy quite busy! He is always trying to drink from our water bottles or cans of soda & will no longer take a bottle. I recently got him a sippy cup & he loves it! He is already trying to hold it by himself. :-)

This week has been a lot of new firsts for Isaiah. He started watching his "Your Baby Can Read" dvd on Monday. He also started using the walker & jumperoo this week. He loves being entertained by things. He also likes to "stand up" when you hold his arms. He smiles & jabbers a lot. Needless to say, I am a very proud mommy who is very in love with her little boy! I absolutely love being his mom & can't think of anything else I'd rather do! He weighs approximately 13 pounds (according to my scales) & is 23 inches long. He will go soon for his 4 month check up so we will get a more accurate weight & length then. Bye for now!

Well, Isaiah is already 3 months old! I thank God for our incredible gift from God. He is so much fun. I am so thankful that God blessed our lives with such a special little boy!

Today Jason, Isaiah, & I were shopping & I came across this book. I thought, well I want to buy him a book but I am not going to get it yet unless he seems interested. I opened the book & started showing him the pictures and he got all excited! We bought it for him & he looked at the book & even started "talking" when I was reading it to him in the car. We were reading to him again before bed time & I had to get some pictures to share. He is such a sweet, adorable, smart little boy!! Yes, I am his mommy & I am very biased! :-)

This is a picture of me as a baby. Although I do know he looks like Jason & has a lot of his features, he has a little of me too. :-)

Isaiah went to the doctor yesterday for his 8 week check up. He had to get shots, 1 in each leg. That was no fun for mommy or baby but he has done very well considering. He weighed 10 pounds, 14 ounces & is now 22 inches long. We are so blessed. Isaiah is smiling & responding more to us every day & becomes more & more fun!! He is such a wonderful baby!!

Today Isaiah went to the doctor & he weighed 10 pounds & 10 ounces!! He goes back to the doctor one week from today for his 8 week check up.

Isaiah is now 6 weeks & 5 day days old. He is growing so fast! He has started smiling a lot & really responding to us. It is so fun!! He will go back to the doctor on Wednesday. The last time he went to the doctor was when he was a little over a week old & only weighed 7.12 so I am pretty sure he has put on a few pounds since then! :-)

Yesterday, Isaiah got to wear one of his UNC outfits. (He has 3 already) It didn't fit him until now. I thought it was so cute on him!! I am so thankful for this little boy!

Isaiah James Vreeke was 7 lbs. 12 ounces & 20 inches long. He was born on Friday, March 6th at 9:46 pm. We are so happy to be his parents & so thankful that God has blessed us with this wonderful baby. He is doing very well so far & we are so thankful!! Now if I can get him on a better schedule we will be doing fabulous!! :-)
